Global PR agency seeks students for summer work

The global public relations agency Ketchum invites Gabelli juniors and seniors to apply for its 10-week summer fellowship program, which starts in June 2012.

Ketchum summer fellows have the chance to do hands-on work at the agency, and seniors who stand out in the program may be asked to interview for a full-time account associate position that will pick up when the fellowship comes to a close.

Ketchum is among the largest and most geographically diverse public-relations agencies in the world, operating in 65 countries through more than 100 offices and affiliates. Summer fellows’ responsibilities may include developing and maintaining media lists, monitoring media, preparing pitch letters, helping to create press materials, attending client and team meetings, helping with event coordination, researching new business opportunities, helping to prepare for client presentations and more.
