Ahir Gopaldas, marketing instructor, wins doctoral competition

Ahir Gopaldas, visiting instructor of marketing, is this year’s winner of the Marketing Management Association’s Outstanding Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Competition. This international competition is open to doctoral students from all institutions. It recognizes academic achievement and future promise in classroom instruction and scholarship. The Gabelli School of Business community congratulates him on this honor!
Dr. Gopaldas recently completed his Ph.D. at York University and is spending the year on our Fordham Schools of Business faculty. In advance of receiving the award, he was one of three finalists who presented a teaching demonstration at the Marketing Management Association’s annual conference. His mini-lesson was titled “Consumer Motivation: The Whys of Consumer Behavior.” Dr. Gopaldas teaches Principles of Marketing and Consumer Behavior to Gabelli undergraduates.
