Ad in The New York Times heralds Gabelli school unification
It’s official, and it’s in The New York Times.
The unification of Fordham University‘s undergraduate and graduate business schools under one name, the Gabelli School of Business, was announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and Thursday, a full-page advertisement appeared on A13 of the Times heralding the event.
A large photo of Lincoln Center undergraduate students with Mario Gabelli, after whom the school is named, graces the top of the ad, with smaller photos of Dean Donna Rapaccioli and Gabelli at the bottom.
The unification and Rapaccioli’s appointment as dean of the newly unified school were announced Wednesday in a letter from University Provost Stephen Freedman, Ph.D.
“Over the past year, Dr. Rapaccioli has headed the unification process and overseen the development of a rigorous and distinctive business curriculum, including a new Ph.D. program, generously funded by Mario J. Gabelli, GSB ’65, Regina Pitaro, FCRH ’76, and the Gabelli Family Foundation,” Freedman wrote.
