Head of Investcorp to speak at Lincoln Center June 3

Nemir Kirdar, a longtime star player in the finance industry, will speak at a Fordham Wall Street Council event on June 3.
Kirdar, active in banking since 1969 and currently the executive chairman and CEO of Investcorp, holds an MBA from Fordham University and honorary doctorates from Fordham and several other universities in both the United States and Great Britain.
The London resident founded Investcorp, a private equity investment group specializing in global investments, in 1982. The firm has offices in New York, London and Bahrain.
Kirdar’s talk will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 3 in the 12th Floor Lounge of the Lowenstein Building on Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus. Admission is $25 for alumni and $30 for guests, but students may attend for free. Business attire is required.
The Fordham Wall Street Council, founded in 2010, holds several events a year featuring high-level speakers from various finance industry sectors. The events feature time for networking as well.
