Renovations of the old Fordham Law School building are progressing, and in one more year, it will be home to the Gabelli School of Business at Lincoln Center.

The building also will include a new student center and an expanded Quinn Library, according to this report. The building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in late August 2016.

For Gabelli School students, both graduate and undergraduate, at Lincoln Center, the renovations mean dedicated classroom space, meeting rooms and up-to-date technology and infrastructure.

“This building is designed to encourage interaction,” said Donna Rapaccioli, dean of the Gabelli School. “There is an advantage to having faculty, doctoral students, master’s students, and undergraduates in the same space to share ideas, and there is an added benefit from the layout of the building itself — it was designed to support teamwork, which, as we always remind our students, is an inescapable feature of today’s business world.”
