The Gabelli School scored well in each of the four surveys – employer, student, salary and internship – and jumped 11 spots from its 2015 ranking, according to Bloomberg statistics.

The survey, released Tuesday, April 19, showed that 7.1 percent of new graduates went to work for a startup, which was higher than the survey average of 5.3 percent. Outstanding student debt also was lower than the survey average, and the percentage of students who interned where they now work was higher than average.

Bloomberg has been ranking undergraduate business programs since 2006, though the methodology has changed. More emphasis is now given to how well programs prepare students for their careers.
