Fordham nabs second place in NABA case competition

Congratulations to the graduate Fordham Chinese Business Society (FCBS) for taking home second place at the fall 2016 NABA NY Case Study Competition on Saturday, October 22.

Sponsored by Deloitte and judged by staff from the firm, the competition gave students an opportunity to showcase their skills in strategic thinking, time management, and communication.

Student teams tackled real-world business issues, working with advisers from accounting and financial firms to develop recommendations for each case.

FCBS fielded Fordham’s only team entry, and in earning runner-up honors, the club triumphed over many competitors from around New York City. The top three teams received cash prizes for their extraordinary work.

Earning second place is a fantastic achievement for FCBS and for the University, highlighting students’ tactical talent as well as their commitment to teamwork.
