Then don’t miss the February 6 on-campus information session where you’ll learn about the 2014 MLB Diversity Summit — co-sponsored by the New York Yankees — and why you should attend.

This is a preview for the 2014 MLB Diversity Business Summit, which will be held on April 14 and 15, 2014.

The summit itself is a sports employment conference that allows job seekers and entrepreneurs to meet representatives of major-league and minor-league clubs, attend exploratory interviews, view exhibits and learn the behind-the-scenes business of baseball.

Attendees at this year’s conference will also receive a ticket for the New York Yankees vs. the Chicago Cubs baseball game on April 15, 2014 in celebration of Jackie Robinson day.

The on-campus event this Thursday is to foreshadow this April conference and help you decide whether you should attend. Here at Fordham, you will hear from:

William T. Rolack, Sr. is the senior director of workforce strategy, diversity and strategic alliances for Major League Baseball in the Officer of the Commissioner.

Mr. Rolack served on the Graduate and Adult Enrollment Advisory Board for Marist College, and as an adjunct professor at the State University of New York Brooklyn Economic Opportunity Center. He has been a guest speaker for organizations such as The World Diversity Leadership Summit, the Society for Human Resources Management and the Urban Financial Services Coalition. His work as a mentor and professional coach and his contributions in the human resources field earned him a proclamation from the New York City Council. Mr. Rolack has served as president of National Association of African Americans in Human Resources Greater New York Chapter and as a member of the national board of directors.

He received his BS degree in business administration from South Carolina State University and his MBA from Long Island University.
