With Fordham’s heights scaled, Kilimanjaro next logical step

When an NFL team wins the Super Bowl, the first question to the winning quarterback is always something like, “You just won the Super Bowl! What are you going to do???” You know the Disney-paid-for answer that always comes next.

Well, two weeks ago, if someone had asked Steve Cirincione (GSB ’12) — in a similar moment of triumph — “You just got your Fordham diploma! What are you going to do???” the answer would have been, “Climb Mount Kilimanjaro.”

And Steve did. With Fordham gear on and even more Fordham gear to distribute to his helpful guides and other locals, he headed to Tanzania to conquer a mountain that may or may not stack up against Quantitative Portfolio Management.
