HughesNews: Views from the inside
Stories | Sep 15, 2011 | Nicole Gesualdo
Welcome to the inaugural installment of HughesNews, where we will bring you ongoing updates about the progress of construction over at Hughes Hall, the soon-to-be home of the Gabelli School of Business! We will follow this project as an expert construction team turns a former freshman dorm into a state-of-the-art center for business education.
Today, we bring you two things: One is an article by Inside Fordham‘s Patrick Verel that offers details about the strategy being used to build out the inside of Hughes and the work that has been done to date.
The other is a Flickr set of seven new images provided to Dean Rapaccioli’s office by the project managers. These pictures will take you on something of a guided tour of the Hughes interior as it looked in early September. Those of you on campus may enjoy a glimpse into what lies on the other side of those giant sheets of protective netting.
Keep an eye out for future HughesNews posts on GabelliConnect as the year goes on!
