Prof. Aksoy wins one of Turkey’s top business prizes

Faculty Stories | Nov 26, 2012 |

The Gabelli School of Business might not be able to give Professor Lerzan Aksoy a round of applause quite as loud as the entire nation of Turkey, but we can definitely try our best.

This month, Professor Aksoy received the Management Honor Award (Yönetim Onur Ödülü), one of the most prestigious business and management awards in Turkey. She and her fellow honoree, Timothy Keiningham of Ipsos Loyalty, join an extraordinarily distinguished list of past recipients: the founders of Turkey’s economy, including past presidents of the country, statesmen and successful managers.

Professor Aksoy accepted her prize at the EDUPLUS 11th Annual Management Summit (Yönetim Zirvesi) in Istanbul on November 15. The award was given as a lifetime achievement award for research contributions that affect management in ways that cross international boundaries.

Congratulations, Professor Aksoy!
