Summer Internship Program, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, one of the largest and oldest financial intuitions in the world, seeks students interested in a paid, 10-week summer internship within the credit department of the SMBC-Americas division, located in midtown Manhattan.

Interns will receive a competitive salary, practical training in credit/financial analysis and the opportunity to work on important commercial lending transactions under the guidance of experienced credit professionals.

Successful completion of the summer internship program could, based on company need, lead to additional internship and/or employment opportunities within SMBC.

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Matriculated, full-time students at Gabelli School of Business who will have successfully completed their junior year by June 1, 2013.
  • Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.50.
  • A commitment to working the full 10 weeks of the program, from Monday, June 3, 2013, through Friday, August 9, 2013.
