Summer Internship Fair, Ross Stores, Dec. 7

Ross Stores is hiring buying and planning interns.

Ross Stores, Inc., is rapidly expanding and looking for talented students who want a summer internship in New York City. The company operates two discount chains: Ross Dress for Less, the largest off-price chain in the United States, and dd’s Discounts. Combined, it has more than 1,100 stores in 33 states. According to the company’s description, these stores stock “first-quality, in-season, name brand and designer apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions for the entire family at everyday savings of 20 to 60 percent off department and specialty store regular prices.”

Ross is currently recruiting for assistant buyer interns and location planning interns for its New York buying office. The company invites applications from students, preferably juniors going into their senior year, who enjoy a fast-paced working environment, like a challenge, and have excellent analytical skills and a passion for the retail industry.

The company is holding an internship fair on December 7, at which students may drop in between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. During this time, a buyer and planner will make presentations, scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
