GlobeCast is looking to fill an open marketing intern position in its downtown Manhattan office. This intern will interact with all marketing functions and will support two international television products: WorldTV and MyGlobeTV.

Responsibilities include: managing social media sites to promote brand awareness, research using competitive and community-based data, maintenance and updating of databases, creating a monthly internal industry newsletter, assistance in planning and preparing for community events, and various other ad hoc projects. Flexible schedule.

Candidates must be MS Office proficient and must know intermediate Excel, including macros, pivot tables, graphs, charts and so forth. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a plus, as is a major in business, media or communications.
