Location: New York, New York
Position type: Part- or full-time (minimum of one full day per week)
Skill level: Analyst or associate
Number of positions: 1 to 2 openings
Start date: Immediate
Duration: Full semester or academic year

 

Position responsibilities

  • Research all classes of environmental market products globally
  • Research legislation, policy and regulation that affect environmental markets
  • Track industry trends and industry events, compile media-related material
  • Compose research briefs and news reports on renewable energy, environmental markets, legislation, policy and regulation for in-house and external use

Requirements

  • Current student in journalism, economics and/or the environment
  • Focus on environmental research, writing and editing
  • Professional interest in media, research and publishing
  • Strong understanding of economics and finance
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts in rapidly changing markets and policy regimes
