Compliance seminar explores deal-making, regulations

How do you structure a good acquisition deal without running afoul of federal regulations?

That question and others were addressed during a July seminar on corporate compliance, staged by Fordham Law School and the Gabelli School of Business.

“We’re really trying to make sure that folks understand that there’s a dynamic involved,” Mario DiFiore, co-director of the compliance institute, said of the program. “How do you follow those laws, rules and regulations and still kind of put through the business deals?”
