Nov. 12: Supper Club geared toward marketing students

Next month’s calendar includes an Alumni/Student Supper Club with Maria Ungaro (FCRH ’91, GBA ’96), a vice president at Kellen Company, which provides management, communications and event planning services worldwide.

Business students who have marketing and communications positions in their sights are advised to apply for a seat at the dinner, which is completely free for students:

Here is some additional information about your host:

Maria Ungaro, a vice president of Kellen Company, also serves as executive director of the professional society New York Women in Communications and its affiliated foundation.

Ms. Ungaro has worked at Kellen for more than 15 years, cultivating skills in strategic thinking, operational effectiveness, membership retention, growth marketing and major event planning and fundraising. Earlier in her career, she worked for a management consulting firm specializing in crisis communications, public relations and corporate positioning.

In her role with New York Women in Communications, Ms. Ungaro oversees the organization’s flagship Matrix Awards, an event that has been dubbed “the Oscars of communications.” She also directs the awards program for the Airline Passenger Experience Association, which recognizes innovation and leadership in commercial airline transportation.

Ms. Ungaro holds two degrees from Fordham: a BA from Fordham College, where she majored in political science with a minor in economics, and an MBA in marketing from the Graduate School of Business Administration.
