It has been a great first year for the Gabelli Alumni/Student Supper Club, which debuted this past fall. We now announce our last dinner for the semester, for which the hosts will be two AT&T executives.
The Supper Club program will return in the fall with a new roster of alumni and executive hosts, but for now, take note of these details:
Date: Wednesday, April 25, 2012
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Pomodoro, 229 Columbus Avenue between 70th and 71st Streets, New York City

Students who attend this Supper Club will meet Robert P. Handal Jr. and Dominick Sampogna, both of telecommunications giant AT&T. This is an especially valuable opportunity for any students majoring in marketing or hoping to pursue a marketing-related career.
As regional vice president for sales for AT&T’s government and education business services unit, Mr. Handal oversees a team of sales professionals who work in a $400-million market that includes New York-based colleges and universities, K-12 schools and government organizations from the municipal through state levels. He has been with the company since 1989 and has held various positions in sales, sales management, marketing, custom offers, alternative channel distribution and access management.
Mr. Sampogna joined AT&T in 2010 after 25 years at Verizon, where he was a premier strategic account manager working with financial institutions and private health care systems. At AT&T, he has worked in sales and account management and focuses on college/university and county-level government clients. Mr. Sampogna also teaches management and economics courses at two area colleges on the side.
