Next week — October 29 through November 2 — is Fordham’s second Positive Marketing Week, a production of the university’s Center for Positive Marketing that includes its annual conference.
Three events are open to the Gabelli School population and are ideal for students who are focused on marketing. Give these a look:
Event: Gyro agency workshop
Date: Monday, October 29, 2012
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Lincoln Center campus, Lowenstein Building, 12th-floor lounge
What it is: A small group of Gabelli School students will be chosen by marketing faculty to participate in an advertising case study evaluated by reps from Gyro, an up-and-coming agency. This is a great chance to show professionals what you can do and to make career connections. Click here to read more and to apply to be part of the participating group. Decisions will be made soon, so do it right away if you’re interested!
Event: “Green Halloween” party
Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2012
Time: 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: McGinley faculty lounge
What it is: A time to hang out, have fun, enjoy some Halloween treats and see how this fall holiday connects with environmentalism and sustainability. (Who knew?) Costumes are welcome but not required.
Event: Speech by Salman Amin, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, PepsiCo
Date: Thursday, November 1, 2012
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Location: Lincoln Center campus, Lowenstein Building, 12th-floor lounge
