Sunday: GSB students invited to marketing-network event

A marketing network called “Mr Youth“ has invited Gabelli School students to attend a Sunday event about the future — and power — of social media.
Admission is free, but only 100 college students from around the New York area can attend due to space limitations.

According to Mr Youth materials, the event will include a panel discussion and will focus on the evolution of social media, the changing media landscape, and how that may shape the career paths of students interested in marketing. The panelists are:
- Katherine Barna, head of communications, Tumblr
- Adrian Brinkley, social media coordinator, ASOS
- Will Wheeler, digital director, Extra Extra Creative
