YOU can change an executive’s life

Areas of Study Marketing | Apr 04, 2013 |

Is there a marketing executive you really admire?

Someone you think deserves some recognition?

Well, now is your chance to potentially raise that person’s profile.

Each year, Fordham’s Center for Positive Marketing gives out a “Cura Personalis in Positive Marketing Award,” bestowed upon a selected executive at its annual conference. Gabelli School students are being asked to nominate their favorite industry leaders for consideration.

The most recent award went to Salman Amin, senior vice president and global chief marketing officer of PepsiCo. The year before, the honoree was David Neeleman, founder of JetBlue and the founder and CEO of Azul Airlines.

Whom do you see getting the next prize? You may submit your nominations here.

Before you do, though, take a moment to consider what the Center for Positive Marketing is looking for. Here are some guidelines from the center’s leaders:

“The Cura Personalis in Positive Marketing award is given annually to an executive whose leadership and vision uplift organizational stakeholders, individual citizens, and society at large. Award recipients view consumers holistically, focusing on overall consumer well-being as a means for driving long-term business growth. They are people-centric, using their roles in the marketing process to better the lives of people both within and well beyond the firm. These individuals serve as a change agent in their industry.”

So, get nominating! You never know whether one of your marketing idols might be the one to cross the stage next time.
