About the host:

As the vice chairman, clients and markets for PwC, Donald Almeida oversaw PwC’s global clients, markets and industries. He  also served as client service vice chairman for the U.S. firm, managing partner for several U.S. industry groups including technology, infocom, entertainment and media. In addition to these management roles, he was a member of the U.S. Board of Partners and the PwC Global Board of Partners.

Mr. Almeida has 40 years of experience with large multinational companies in market-facing leadership roles. Internationally, his experience includes work in Brazil, Russia, India, China, Japan and most of Europe, including a three-year tour in Italy. Don was a member of the International Financial Center Advisory Board of Russia, chaired by the President of Russia, and the Foreign Investor Council of Kazakhstan, chaired by the President of Kazakhstan.

As lead partner, concurring partner or senior relationship partner, he has worked with IBM, Avis, CBS, CDell, Gateway, Lexmark, Nokia, Pitney Bowes, Thomson Reuters, 3M, USA Interactive, Viacom and Xerox, among others. He is currently on the boards of WellDoc and the Mariinsky Foundation of America and the advisory boards of Talent Box and Healthy Me.

Mr. Almeida is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is also a member of the Fordham Business Schools Advisory Board and the Fordham President’s Council.

He earned a B.S. degree in accounting at Fordham University.
