Fordham seeks to break down barriers to aid community leaders
Undergraduate | Mar 11, 2015 | Gabelli School of Business
Fordham University is actively seeking to break down the gates between the university and the community it is a part of, a Fordham administrator told a gathering of students, entrepreneurs and change-makers last week.
The audience, which came together for part of the NYC Social Innovation Festival at Fordham’s Rose Hill campus on March 6, heard not only from Ron Jacobson, an associate vice president in the Provost’s Office, but also Gabelli School of Business Associate Professor Michael Pirson and others about the need to listen, learn and collaborate with business allies throughout the Bronx.
A panel discussion with local entrepreneurs and a brainstorming session followed Jacobson’s and Pirson’s remarks.
