Globetrotting Gabelli student combines music and marketing
The words “MBA program” and “underground parties” don’t often go hand-in-hand. But for Christian Voldstad, MBA ’17, marketing and analytics align perfectly with his passion for music.
Voldstad travels all over the world performing at music festivals, fundraisers, and nightclubs and has found “I’m able to apply a lot of what I learned in marketing to my DJing.”
While he got his start in New York City, Voldstad regularly performs at Burning Man, and he is in South Africa this week to DJ for AfrikaBurn, a regional arts and music festival in Tankwa Karoo.
“It’s been rather unexpected, but it’s been exciting, and I’m really enjoying it,” Voldstad says. Read the full article in Fordham News.
