Graduate | Sep 26, 2018 | admin
A new semester brings with it new MBA students.
On campus since early August to participate in the Gabelli Launch orientation program, the full-time Class of 2020 is a diverse group of students with backgrounds in industries ranging from education to dance.
Today we’re speaking with Seema Vadsola, who is hoping to make a career change.
What is your hometown?
I was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
What were you doing before you started the MBA program?
I was working as a pharmacist in various settings, most recently in a mom-and-pop-style pharmacy.
Why did you choose the Gabelli School?
I chose Gabelli due to the individualization given to each student. Having a smaller cohort means that my professors and advisors would get to know me and vice versa. This is essential for me as I am looking to make a change in my career and will greatly benefit from personalized assistance.
What are you looking forward to most about the program?
I am fortunate to be a part of an amazing cohort who supports each other. I’m looking forward to making lasting memories while gaining knowledge that will help me actualize my dreams.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I’d really like to consult for a technology-based company that is looking to bring innovation to healthcare.
Fun fact:
I love Harry Potter. I’ve even attended NY Comic Con dressed as the Gryffindor Quidditch team along with my friends.
