Women in Business Retreat being planned for fall

Featured Events | Apr 29, 2015 |
4476070Based on the success of last year’s freshman business retreat, a new Women in Business Retreat is on deck for fall 2015.
It will give female undergraduate and graduate business students two days to break away from campus, unwind at Fordham‘s upstate retreat center, and consider how they might contribute to defining future perceptions of women in business.
The goal? Learning more about your own strengths, interests and goals, while hearing from accomplished women about their career experiences. Transportation and lodging will be provided free of charge to students who go.
If you’re interested in participating, now is the time to help shape exactly what the retreat experience is going to be like.
Join our retreat planners, Hanna Read, BS ’16, Barbara Almeida, MBA ’15, and Ashton Napier, MBA ’15, in laying the groundwork for this first-ever event.
Right now, they are considering a panel of women in different generations, an interactive strength diagnostic, and a debate about the role of personal values in the workplace. But they are interested in your reactions to these ideas—and your proposed additions.
Think you might want to attend this retreat in the fall or help with the remainder of the planning process? Email Greer Jason-DiBartolo at jason@fordham.edu.
