Post-hurricane volunteering: It’s the Gabelli School’s turn!

Ever since Hurricane Sandy demolished residences, businesses, infrastructure, coastline and more, Fordham students have been getting together for Saturday “work days” to put New York City back together better than it was before.
This coming Saturday, March 23, is OUR day.
Dean Rapaccioli has made the Gabelli School of Business the sponsor of this Saturday’s Sandy restoration event, and we need as many volunteers as possible to join our group.

Let’s show all of Fordham that the Gabelli School will step in to help when it counts.
Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013
Time: Depart campus at 8 a.m., return to campus at 5 p.m.
Location: Breezy Point, Queens (free transportation will be provided from Rose Hill)
Register: Click here
Students who join the group will be working with Habitat for Humanity to rebuild homes destroyed by the storm. Responsibilities will include demolition, cleanup and construction preparation. This is an unparalleled way to show the residents of New York City that Fordham and the Gabelli School care about their recovery.
We hope to see you there!
