Back by demand — Ace the tough interview!

Featured Events | Oct 17, 2011 |

Sure, you can talk about why you want a career in business, and about how your previous internships have prepared you for this next position. But can you handle the really, really tough interview questions?

Management professor Ben Cole will teach you how to field the true curve balls on Monday, October 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in Campbell Commons. You’ll be able to respond skillfully when interviewers toss out questions such as:

• “How much milk was consumed in Ireland last year?”
• “How many airplanes are flying over the United States right this second?”
• “How many golf balls could fit inside the Empire State Building?”

These questions are no exaggeration — ones just like them have been used by recruiters at Google, Morgan Stanley and the Boston Consulting Group, among others. It pays to be prepared. The Gabelli School of Business offered this workshop with Dr. Cole for the first time last year, and it was one of the best-attended. It is back by popular demand.

Campbell and Salice-Conley residents, Gabelli students of all class years, and FCRH juniors and seniors are invited to attend. Click here to register for this event on GSB Access.
