Take a spring study tour to Turkey, Ireland or Japan

All the time you need for a Gabelli School study tour is nine or 10 days.

Add to that the desire to see how business takes shape in another country, and you’ve got the first two ingredients toward an unforgettable study-abroad experience.

Spring 2014 study tours will head to Turkey, Ireland and Japan. Will you go? Read below and attend the information session for any (or all!) that interest you.

 

TURKEY
Upper-level finance study tour
Affiliated course: FNBU 4473: Study Tour of Turkey – Financial Modeling of Emerging Markets
On-campus component: Seven or eight lectures during the semester
Destinations: Istanbul, Izmir and Ephesus
Travel dates: Spring break (March 15 to March 23, 2014)
Prerequisite: Financial Management
Open to: Sophomores, juniors and seniors
Information session: Friday, November 15, 1:00 p.m., Hughes 313

 

IRELAND
Upper-level marketing study tour
Affiliated course: MKBU 4469: Ireland’s Challenging Marketing Environment – Study Tour of Ireland
On-campus component: Seven or eight lectures during the semester
Destination: Galway
Travel dates: After commencement (May 19 to May 27, 2014)
Prerequisite: Marketing Principles
Open to: Sophomores, juniors and seniors
Information session: Tuesday, November 12, 5:30 p.m., Hughes 307

 

JAPAN
Upper-level marketing study tour
Affiliated course: MKBU 44XX: Marketing and the City: Tokyo – Study Tour of Tokyo
On-campus component: Seven or eight lectures during the semester
Destination: Tokyo
Travel dates: Spring break (exact dates TBD)
Prerequisite: Marketing Principles
Open to: Juniors and seniors only. Please note that this is a very small trip; there is space for only 10 upper-level marketing students to participate.
Information session: Friday, November 15, 1:00 p.m., Hughes 313
