Featured Events | Nov 05, 2013 |

In New York City, real estate is a constantly evolving industry, burgeoning here even as it lags in other parts of the United States.

Learn more about this growth field — including real estate development and real estate law — at this panel discussion:

Date: Monday, November 11, 2013
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Flom Auditorium (lower level of Walsh Library)
Register to attend: E-mail Tara McWilliams at tmcwilliams@fordham.edu no later than November 4.

Panelists will include:

  • William Banfield (FCRH ’74), partner at Podell, Schwartz, Schechter & Banfield LLP, a law firm devoted to matters of real estate tax assessment, abatement and exemption
  • Stephen Gliatta (GSB ’80), partner at Kaye Scholer, where he focuses on representing investment banks and other institutional lenders in their first mortgage debt and mezzanine loans
  • Nestor Davidson, professor of law at Fordham Law School
  • Fionna Sciame (FCRH ’09, LAW ’13), acquisitions and sales department, Sciame Development

You may contact Ms. McWilliams in the FCRH dean’s office with any questions (see e-mail address above). We hope to see many Gabelli School students there!
