Lindsey Pollak, author of Getting from College to Career — the book that all sophomores, juniors and seniors received in the mail this past summer — will appear at Rose Hill next week to share some advice on nailing down a great job.
She’ll speak specifically about how to use social media to advance your career search.

Ms. Pollak is an author, corporate consultant and keynote speaker who focuses on next-generation career trends. She has more than a decade of experience advising both young professionals and organizations on the changing world of work.
In addition to being the author of College to Career, Ms. Pollak is a global spokesperson for LinkedIn. She has provided consulting, keynote speeches and seminars for more than 100 corporations, universities and conferences. Her clients and audiences have included IBM, Merrill Lynch, Time Inc., Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Duke and MIT; her opinions have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Glamour, and on CNN, NPR and the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.
