Nov. 13: Have lunch with a former chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff

Featured Events | Nov 07, 2012 |

It’s not every day you get to have a sandwich with a former chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

But next Tuesday, it is.

If you act fast.

U.S. Marine Corps General Peter Pace (Ret.) has offered to have lunch and an informal conversation with a very small group of Gabelli School of Business students. Because of his experience, General Pace has a perspective on leadership that every business student ought to hear — and at this event, you can hear it across a lunch table, rather than in a lecture hall.

Seats and complimentary lunches are limited, so if you want to participate, give these details a quick review and sign up as soon as possible:

Date: Tuesday, November 13, 2012
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Location: Hughes Hall 207 (the study center)
Register: Click here to see if a spot is still available and claim yours!

Here is more information about General Pace, adapted from the fall 2011 issue of Fordham Business magazine:

General Peter Pace (Ret.), chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2005 to 2007, taught at the Fordham Schools of Business last year as a distinguished visiting scholar. Having served as the primary military adviser to former President George W. Bush during much of the Iraq war, General Pace has a unique perspective and firsthand knowledge of the ripple effect politics can have on global business interests.
