Hollister Co. president to give IBW keynote on Nov. 18

Fran Horowitz, MBA ’90, will deliver a keynote address for International Business Week on Nov. 18, 2015.

A major player in the international fashion industry will deliver a keynote address on Nov. 18 as part of the Gabelli School of Business’s International Business Week.

Fran Horowitz, MBA ’90, is the president of Hollister Co., a large American clothing retailer that is a division of Abercrombie & Fitch.

International Business Week, held from Nov. 16 through Nov. 19, is a signature event of Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. The week is designed not only to showcase the university’s global reach, but also to give students exposure to high-level executives from successful worldwide companies.

Horowitz, who received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College, has more than 30 years experience as a retail executive. Before becoming brand president at Hollister, she served as president of Ann Taylor Loft. She also was executive vice president of women’s merchandising and design for Express Inc. and worked at Bloomingdale’s for 13 years in a variety of roles.

She will speak at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Law School on the Lincoln Center campus. A list of all International Business Week events can be found here. Attendance at the Horowitz event is limited and those interested must register.
