This year’s topic, “Male Allies in the Workplace,” is sure to set a luminous stage for vigorous discussion and debate. Women and men are invited to attend—both graduate students and undergraduates—for  an evening that will offer plenty of opportunities to network with the keynote speaker Eleonora Anastasia Sciopu, vice president at AXA Advisors, plus panelists, alumni, faculty and students.

Founded in 1998, Fordham Women in Business has more than 200 current members and 800 alumni. While many of the club’s activities are geared toward women, men are encouraged to join the organization and attend events.

FWiB’s mission is to embody the spirit of community, opportunity, and development. The club supports the confluence of students, alumni and area professionals to create an open forum of mentoring and teamwork. FWiB helps students build meaningful relationships with other women working in business, providing professional development opportunities and expert advice through networking events, a mentor program, workshops and guest speakers.

 About the keynote:

Eleonora Anastasia Sciopu is a financial professional awarded for her management skills by receiving the GAMA International Management Award two years in a row and the AXA Advisors National Builders Trophy in 2012. Eleonora manages a team at AXA Advisors’ busy midtown Manhattan field office as vice president, district manager. She joined the AXA Advisors, LLC network in 2005 as a financial consultant, and became a manager in 2008.
