May 15 breakfast: Are CEOs and investors at odds?

Featured Events Law and Ethics | Apr 18, 2013 |

Gabelli School students are invited to this event from the Center for Trustworthy Organizations, which is overseen by Fordham’s own Dr. Robert Hurley.

Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2013
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Location: Room 1124, Lowenstein Building (Lincoln Center campus)
Register: RSVP at www.trustinorganizations.com

This event stars Peter Firestein, the author of Crisis of Character – Building Corporate Reputation in the Age of Skepticism and and a long-time corporate advisor on investor intelligence.

He will talk about the ways company managements and their investors — both of whom want a higher share price — work against each other for lack of trust. The CEO’s dilemma: “How can I create confidence in the company while telling competitors as little as possible?” The investor’s dilemma: “What can I believe?”

To attend, please RSVP at www.trustinorganizations.com.
