About the speaker:
A. Salman Amin, Executive in Residence at Fordham’s Center for Positive Marketing, joined S.C. Johnson & Son after a serving for more than 25 years in leadership roles at PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble. He was named Chief Operating Officer – North America Markets in April 2013.
As Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo, Mr. Amin led all facets of marketing for the company’s multiple billion-dollar brands. This included insights, sports marketing, digital, media buying, and capability and people planning. Prior to this position, he served as President PepsiCo, United Kingdom and Ireland and earlier, in management posts with the firm’s Asia Pacific and global business units. He also spent 10 years at Procter & Gamble in brand management, working in the United States, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland.
Mr. Amin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a board member of Elizabeth Arden Company and American Pakistan Foundation.
