This designation is valued by top employers and recognized globally as the highest standard of achievement in alternative investment education.

This and other benefits of the new partnership, will be the focus of discussion at the Fordham University Alternative Investing Club March 10 meeting, mandatory for sophomores and juniors interested in pursuing the secondary concentration in the next two years.

The club will welcome CAIA representatives, including Hossein Kazemi, Ph.D., professor of finance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and former managing director of curriculum and examination at CAIA. He will outline opportunities for scholarship and participation in the CAIA designation and examinations for students and faculty.

“This partnership and certification, in combination with our coursework, secondary concentration and employer outreach will position our students to be valuable members of the alternative investment community upon graduation,” said Kevin Mirabile, CPA, DPS, clinical assistant professor of finance and business economics and program director of the alternative investment secondary concentration at Fordham.
