Venture capitalist Tim Draper will speak at Fordham University on April 14, 2016.

Tim Draper, a venture capitalist and billionaire who has invested in some of the most well-known recent tech startups, is coming to Fordham University.

Draper will give a talk in the Fordham Law School Moot Court room on April 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. He will take questions from the audience.

Draper, 57, is the founder of Draper Associates and the founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, both venture capital firms. Over the past 30 years, he has invested in Skype, Tesla, SpaceX, Yammer and Box, an online file-sharing service, among other companies.

His successes led him in 2012 to found Draper University, whose website says it seeks to teach budding entrepreneurs through “hands on training, an innovative curriculum and thought leadership.”
