Sign up now for October 16 on-site visit to Tiffany & Co.

Alumni Featured Events | Oct 02, 2013 |

The Gabelli School’s traditional “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” will take place this year on October 16.

At this event, Tiffany & Co. COO Jim Fernandez, a Fordham alumnus, welcomes Gabelli School students to his company’s Manhattan headquarters for breakfast and a memorable conversation about the luxury-goods business. Students of all majors are welcome — Mr. Fernandez may choose to discuss the company’s finances, marketing, supply chain, operations and much more. Student questions are welcome!

Attendance is very limited for this event. When the three complimentary Ram Vans the Gabelli School has rented fill up, the event will close to registration. Sign up now below.

Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2013
Time: Departure from Rose Hill at 7:30 a.m. (no waiting, no exceptions!)
Location: Meet the group at the Ram Van office behind O’Hare Hall
Dress: Business formal
Register: Click here to sign up.
IMPORTANT: Only sign up if you are 100 percent certain you can come. This is an extremely popular event, and if you register and don’t show, you have taken a spot away from a fellow student.

Mr. Fernandez, a dedicated Ram and a member of the university’s President’s Council, graduated from Fordham’s Graduate School of Business Administration and joined Tiffany & Co. in October 1983. He held multiple posts in financial planning and management at the company, becoming its Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in 1998. Three years later, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer.

If you have any questions about the event, contact Colleen Sullivan (GSB ’09), the Gabelli School’s event planner, at ccosullivan@fordham.edu.
