March 3: ALPFA helps you get internships in a tough economy

Gabelli students of all majors and concentrations should consider heading to the KPMG offices in midtown for an ALPFA workshop and career fair designed to help you land an internship in a difficult economy. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, March 3
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: KPMG, 345 Park Avenue (between 51st and 52nd Streets)

Note: The ALPFA site indicates that the deadline has passed, on February 23, but ALPFA has contacted us at Gabelli and indicated that the organization is still accepting new applications from Fordham.

 

What does the event include?
— Two rotations of student workshops that focus on:

  • Internship preparedness
  • Academic preparedness
  • Career development

— Lunch, including a keynote speaker
— Career fair

Who can attend?
— Freshmen through juniors
— Must have a minimum 3.2 GPA
