A full plate of networking opportunities

Alumni , Featured Events Stories | Oct 17, 2011 |

Gabelli students asked us for new ways to meet and network with Gabelli alumni. We heard you. Dean Rapaccioli is proud to introduce a brand-new means for students to make lasting connections with alumni in their chosen career fields: the Alumni/Student Supper Club.

This unique program takes alumni appearances out of the classroom or lecture hall — and seats them comfortably around the dinner table. Each month, one or two alumni will take a small group of students out to dinner at a restaurant chosen by the alumnus or alumna. This is an excellent way for students to get to know alumni in a small-scale, relaxed and fun setting. Don’t forget that it’s who you know — personal connections — that best help you to get the internships and jobs you want.

Announcements about upcoming Supper Club dinners, listed by alumni host, will be posted on the GSB Access section of GabelliConnect on a rolling basis, as we schedule them.

Alumni interested in being a dinner host can sign up here.

We are grateful to our first alumni host, Bob Franz, who will hold the inaugural Supper Club dinner on November 2, 2011. Please follow the links in the paragraph above if you would like to join him. We look forward to including you in a Supper Club meeting in the near future!
