Math and econ study sessions coming for freshmen

Class of 2016: Want some extra help in math or economics as the end of the year approaches?

Due to popular demand, group study sessions will be held in these two subjects. These groups are designed so that you can work together and help one another.

Each session will have a junior or senior tutor on hand to help, but this is really participant-driven. Get together and make some progress!

Economics group study sessions
Four Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., in Daleo Hall B (lower level of Hughes Hall), for students who want to study together for Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Statistics I.

  • April 4
  • April 18
  • April 25
  • May 2

Math group study sessions
Four Mondays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., in Daleo Hall B (lower level of Hughes Hall), for students who want to study together for Math for Business: Calculus or Math for Business: Finite.

  • April 8
  • April 15
  • April 22
  • April 29

Please note that the upperclass tutors are not meant to be available to assist every single student, but rather to the group in general.

If you need one-on-one tutoring, you should visit the Gabelli School Study Center on the 2nd floor of Hughes Hall, the Math Help Room in JMH and/or the Economics Help Room in Dealy Hall. If you have any questions or need advice, please come to see Dean Jason.
