Jeannette Ferran Astorga is Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, for Zoetis, a Fortune 500 global animal health company. As the world’s leading animal health company, Zoetis is dedicated to discovering, developing, manufacturing and commercializing vaccines, medicines, diagnostics and other solutions for veterinarians, livestock farmers and people who raise and care for farm and companion animals. Jeannette also serves as President of the newly formed Zoetis Foundation.
As the company’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, Jeannette is responsible for leading the comprehensive strategy and global execution, tracking and reporting of Zoetis’ inaugural sustainability goals. Jeannette advises Zoetis leadership and Board of Directors on environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainability, working cross-functionally to launch the company’s ambitious long range goals in the areas of environment and social impact and lead the efforts to launch Zoetis’ first sustainability reporting to share progress toward its commitments.
Jeannette earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Finance from Fordham University in New York and has completed a Harvard Business School Executive Education Program in Corporate Social Responsibility.
