Bring your gently used clothing to the Gabelli School Student Success Center
140 West 62nd Street, Room 126, March 1 – April 10 and receive a voucher.
Use the voucher during our Clothing Exchange pop up on April 15 – 17, 4 – 7 p.m. to claim a stylish treasure in return!
The Gabelli School of Business Responsible Business Center is excited to announce its second clothing exchange—part of its mission to help today’s graduate business students take part in circular fashion, an important aspect of sustainability and engagement. Clothing exchanges are events that provide people with an opportunity to swap clothing they no longer wear for an item in someone else’s wardrobe. Eighty percent of unwanted clothing ends up in landfills and is not part of textile recycling. Exchanging clothing instead of throwing it out builds a circular economy, extending the life of clothing that already exists, and keeping it out of landfills.
