CIO Roundtable discussion on Innovation through Continuous Experimentation

For the November gathering of the CIO Roundtable at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus, Cherif Amirat will lead a discussion on Innovation through Continuous Experimentation.

Cherif Amirat holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Stevens, he was the Chief Information Officer at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for the last eight years. Before that, he was a Senior Director of Business Technology at Pfizer, where he held regional and functional leadership positions. He has also worked as a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories and as an adjunct professor at various universities. Cherif is active in the technology community, presenting at conferences and forums and participating in panel discussions on innovation, IT strategy, digital transformation, data management, and cybersecurity. Cherif is a member of multiple CIO governing boards and councils.

The CIO Roundtable, organized by Professor Aditya Saharia of the Gabelli School of Business, meets monthly in the university’s Lowenstein Building at Lincoln Center. This event is invite-only.
