Valerie Irick Rainford (FCRH ‘86), will be our guest for the Fordham University Gabelli School of
Business annual Black History Month Speaker Series. She will join Lerzan Aksoy, Ph.D. dean of the Gabelli School of Business who will moderate this fireside chat, and will provide insights into her highly successful career and her ascension, from humble beginnings, to the upper echelons of the business world. Clarence Ball III, director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Gabelli School will also participate in what is sure to be a fascinating discussion.

ABOUT VALERIE IRICK RAINFORD
A 30+ year veteran of the financial services industry and an early leader in the ESG movement, Valerie Irick Rainford was the first Black woman to be promoted to senior vice president at the NY Fed. Since her retirement from finance, she has become the CEO and founder of Elloree Talent Strategies, a firm that specializes in Independent Equity Assessments, partnering with senior leaders to move the needle on diversity. Rainford serves as a member of the Fordham University Board of Trustees.
