(ALL) Women’s History Month Event: Algorithmic Bias and Gender Inequity

As part of Women’s History Month, Professor RP, Program Director from the Business Analytics program will lead students in a workshop that covers Algorithmic Bias and Gender Inequality. Focusing on gender-based bias and discrimination, this talk will discuss algorithmic bias and its rise in our day to day lives. Examples of algorithmic bias in gender inequity will be surfaced and possible mitigation solutions and strategies will be additionally discussed. We encourage students from all programs to attend this event. Must RSVP to receive the Zoom link.
