Submit Your Official Transcripts

Admitted students are required to submit official transcripts from each college/university attended. For degrees earned (undergraduate and graduate), official transcript(s) must show proof of degree conferred or awarded. Proof of degree awarded refers to your degree conferral information, including degree and date of degree conferral. If you earned your undergraduate or graduate degree at an institution outside the U.S., you must provide the transcript, a certified copy of your diploma and/or degree certificate, and a certified translation of all documents if they are not already in English. All final transcripts and additional academic documentation if needed (including certificate of graduation, diploma, etc.) must be official (envelope sealed and stamped by the university).

How to submit your transcript and proof of degree:

1. (Preferred Method) For universities that participate in electronic transcript reporting such as the National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment; please order an official copy of your transcript to be emailed directly to: admissionsgb@fordham.edu. Please do not forward us links that have been previously sent to you because we will not accept these as “official” copies.

2. If your university does not participate in electronic transcript reporting, please have your previous institution mail the documents in a sealed envelope to the address below. Please note that transcripts delivered to any other address may not be forwarded to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Please ensure that the mailing address provided by your school matches the address below.

It will be a condition in your letter of admissions. Transcript evaluations must include course-by-course analysis and confirm degree conferral for all degrees earned (if applicable). Health Services: Immunization and Health Insurance

Immunization Form:

As mandated by the New York State Department of Health, Fordham University requires every enrolled student to submit the Immunization Form. Please refer to the instructions on Fordham’s Health Info for New Students website concerning immunizations to complete this process, being mindful of deadlines.

If you have any questions or assistance, please call the immunization hotline at (718) 817-0940, or send an e-mail to health@fordham.edu.

Health Insurance:

All full-time degree-seeking students are required to carry appropriate medical insurance while enrolled at Fordham University. All new incoming students will be required to complete an on-line insurance registration process during the beginning of the term. During this secure process, you will be able to waive Fordham’s health insurance by providing proof of health insurance coverage or enroll into Fordham’s sponsored student insurance plan.

Please note: Failure to waive health insurance coverage by the deadline date will result in premium charges appearing on your E-Bill account.

For more information about Fordham’s health insurance plan and how to enroll/waive Fordham’s health insurance, please see the Insurance page on the Fordham University Health Center website. International students can learn more about their insurance requirements on Fordham’s Office of International Students Health Insurance website.
