Attend a film screening about human trafficking in China

Areas of Study , Featured Events , Global Law and Ethics | Jan 24, 2013 |

Fordham’s Institute of International Affairs welcomes Gabelli School students to come see a movie called Walking Merchandise about young Chinese people trafficked to the United States for forced labor.

The movie has been featured at three film festivals, and its directors and co-producers, Ethan Downing and Robert Nguyen, are Fordham alumni.

Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2013
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: McMahon Hall, Room 109, Lincoln Center campus
Register to attend: E-mail risimini@fordham.edu

This is a chance to learn about a dark, illegal side of international commerce that warrants the attention of business students who understand the importance of ethics, such as those of you here at Fordham.

Please note that Downing and Nguyen will be present for a post-film Q & A.
