Microsoft and Gabelli co-sponsor IT careers event

Tech giant Microsoft will join with Gabelli’s Information and Communication Systems area on April 13 to hold an IT career fair for Fordham students. Students who attend will learn about career paths within the IT field and hear industry practitioners talk about exciting new opportunities in the tech sector — which, according to a recent article in Time magazine, represents one of the fastest-growing fields in the United States. Speakers will represent Microsoft, IBM, KPMG, and Hudson Valley Bank, among others. This event is co-sponsored by the Fordham student chapter of the Association for Information Systems and will be held in the Freeman Auditorium at Rose Hill, Room 105, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
